East Coast Rail Line (ECRL) ECRL is a proposed railway line which connects Kuala Lumpur to the states of the East Coast Economic Region such as Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan. This rail line can accommodate up to 600 passengers and will carry both passengers and freight from the West Coast to its East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia and vice versa. The proposed alignment features 23 stations running along a 600.3 km route. The line is projected is to connect passengers from Wakaf Bharu, Kelantan and Gombak, Kuala Lumpur in about 4 hours’ destination.
