East Coast Rail Line (ECRL)



ECRL is a proposed railway line which connects Kuala Lumpur to the states of the East Coast Economic Region such as Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan. This rail line can accommodate up to 600 passengers and will carry both passengers and freight from the West Coast to its East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia and vice versa. The proposed alignment features 23 stations running along a 600.3 km route. The line is projected is to connect passengers from Wakaf Bharu, Kelantan and Gombak, Kuala Lumpur in about 4 hours’ destination.

Travelers require to walk from one area to another area of cities when they travel. Thus, this would encourage traveller to walk in short distance around the cities which brings them to a healthy lifestyle.

Kuala Lumpur-Singapore high Speed Rail (HSR)



HSR project was announced by our Prime Minister in September 2010, to connect Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru with Singapore. Singapore and Malaysia officially agreed to build a high-speed rail link between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore by 2020 on 19 February 2013. The construction of the high-speed railway was expected to start to work by 2017, with the completion in 2026. HSR is an alternative mode of public transport travel which connects 5 cities in Malaysia to Singapore, following a coastal route.
